Slow Down & Savour

Tucked into the heart of the McMiken family’s working dairy farm, the Farmhouse Kitchen has been welcoming guests since 2019. With sweeping views of the countryside, our laid-back dining space offers a cosy escape from the everyday. Our menu is rooted in simplicity and seasonality – think honest, farm-fresh food with a modern touch

Locally sourced ingredients

Everything is as local as we can source. All the beef you’ll find on our menu comes directly from our own slow-raised, grass-fed Simmental cattle, born and reared here on Ernespie Farm for rich, tender flavour. Our salt beef is cured for a week and then cooked over a number of hours. Each morning, our chefs freshly bake our bread rolls, focaccia and buttery scones. And don’t forget to check our specials blackboard or ask your server for today’s choices. It’s where you’ll find today’s seasonal picks, chef’s favourites, and a few surprises we’re especially proud of.

Ernespie Farm Beef

Ernespie Farm rears and manages its own beef, ensuring top quality from field to fork. With a focus on welfare and sustainability, our home-reared cattle produce tender, flavourful beef used in the Farmhouse Kitchen, guaranteeing freshness and traceability in every dish.
